Cafe Notos
Cafe Notos comes highly recommended for its relaxed ambience and tasty homemade dishes using locally sourced produce. Specialising in brunches, sandwiches, and cakes, it's a great spot for a laidback meal. Our personal favourite is their honey and cinnamon lattes, but really, you could have anything at Notos and it would be delicious!
Dogs are also welcome, so it’s a perfect spot for that post-beach walk treat.
Insider tip! In the cafe, they also have a mini shop of locally made products - anything from washbags to coffee mugs and dog leads - that you can buy.
Sandy Mount House
For fine dining with a view, book a table at Sandy Mount House. This restaurant with rooms sits in a prime seafront position overlooking the sandy beach. Award-winning Chef Hefin Roberts oversees their kitchen team championing Welsh ingredients is not to be missed.
Expect the likes of seared Anglesey scallops, local lamb and a tasty cheese board showcasing artisan varieties from across Wales. Plus, if you just fancy a snack and a pint, they have a lovely bar area where you can sit by the fire for a drink.
And, of course, pooches are welcome!
The Oyster Catcher
If you’re looking for a family-friendly pub close to the beach, check out The Oyster Catcher.
Serving up classic British dishes like fish and chips, burgers and stone-baked pizzas, the seasonal menu also boats specials like local mussels and Menai Strait oysters. With Will’s Bar downstairs, you can enjoy a relaxed drink in the day with some loaded fries, or come back in the evening for a proper pub-dining experience.
The outdoor deck with panoramic views over Rhosneigr beach is the perfect spot to enjoy an afternoon pint or glass of wine. And your dog can join you for some pub grub too.
Mezze 40
For a taste of the Mediterranean, Mezze 40 specialises in Greek, Spanish and Turkish small plates and grills.
From dips like hummus and tzatziki to kebabs, vegetarian moussaka and baklava for dessert – you’ll find all your favourites done well at this quickly popular restaurant. If you fancy something a little less pub grub and a little more Spanish tapas, this is the place for you.
Mojo’s
If you prefer to eat al fresco, Mojo’s is a top spot for steaks, fish and other grills overlooking the main beach. Specialising in chargrilled dishes like rump steaks, lamb chops, and chicken breasts, they use quality meats and serve tasty accompaniments like hand-cut chips, sweet potato fries, and garlic butter to fuel your beachside adventures.
Mojo’s is highly rated by locals and holidaymakers alike on Tripadvisor, even winning a 2022 Travelers' Choice Award. With an outdoor deck overlooking the beach, it's a relaxed spot to enjoy classic grilled fare.
